Parking

There will be parking on site for all leaders and helpers camping, plus ;leaders, helpers who come with the day visitors or are helping in a sub camp. The service team will show you where to park. All cars will be left in the designated parking area. There will be no movement of vehicles on site from 3pm Friday 25th May to 3pm Monday 28th May with the exception of deliveries to the catering Section.

Information

Ray Tucker (DC) will be camp leader and will have ultimate responsibility for all those on site.

Shirley Hammond (GSL 21st Maidenhead). All the food for the weekend will be provided by Shirley and will be issued to the sub camps at the appropriate times.

Alan Hoskins (DSL) will look after camp security; we will employ a professional security company, at night, to ensure the safety of all the campers.

Clive Hammond  (ESL Cox Green) and Tony Doolan will be looking after services which include the provision of water to the site.

Jane Taylor & Edwige Brown (DBSL) have been busy sending out letters in the hope that we will have the camp sponsored by local firms etc. They will also liase with the local press to ensure that we have a good coverage for the event.

Bill Carter (ADC Activities) & Nicolette Smith (ESL Young Leaders) are looking after the activities which will be available on site.

Bob Parker (District Treasurer) will handle all the money for the camp. All cheques will need to be payable to Maidenhead 2007. The bank account for all cheques passed to Bob will be to Maidenhead 2007 all other cheques will be returned.

Dave Chesterman (District Executive Chairman) will be the Chairman Organising and will be having short meetings with all concerned to ensure that everything is going to plan.

Ian Stimson (ASL 13th Maidenhead) has agreed to provide an awe inspiring pioneering project and will also lead the campfire. 

Rob Ayre (Troop Assistant Pinkneys Green) and John Boothman (Troop Assistant 1st Cookham) are to run a ongoing competition throughout the weekend for everybody to take part.

Jon Corbitt (Assistant Cub Scout Leader Pinkneys Green) designed the web site. Simon Wheeler (District Scout Leader, SL PG) will be web editor and maintaining the Maidenhead 2007 Camp website.

Scout Fellowship will man the hospitality tent. The guests will be friends of scouting or people who have helped in the planning and execution of this camp. There will be soft drinks and tea/coffee only, again there will be NO alcohol permitted on-site.
